After 2 weeks without lifting a single barbell until today, I can feel it now! –> DOMS!

In the last 24 hours, I’ve eaten:

- Various breads from Taipan Bakery (breakfast)

- A very oily Yum Cha at London Restaurant (lunch)

- Fried Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes at Hong Kong International Airport (dinner)

- Ben & Jerry’s strawberry cheesecake icecream (HK airport)

- Airplane food

- McMuffin (breakfast @ Melb Airport)

Sigh… and not one proper vegetable in sight!

It hurts when paying the tax office! Sigh, more hard-earned money down the drain!

One thing that cheers me up though - this time next week, I’ll be trekking around (and freezing my butt off) in Berlin!

It seems like a lot of people around me have been having issues/injuries with their knees lately - myself included I’ve had pain in both knees for over a year, but only feel it when I’m climbing up & down stairs, when squatting or doing lunges. The GP had prescribed pain killers, but this wasn’t a long-term solution. So after getting x-rays done, I’ve been referred to go see an orthopedic surgeon. Hopefully it’ll turn out to be something that’s not too serious or major, because not being able to work out would really frustrate me…

Boots are a necessity this winter! My latest purchase was this pair of suede boots. There’s nothing worse than having cold feet :S

I haven’t been this excited about an album before! I pre-ordered Mr’s latest album, ‘People Sing for People’ last Sunday night via YesAsia, and received it in the post today. All the tracks are so good - I get goosebumps listening to them!

It’s been FREEZING these past 2 days! Yesterday was the coldest morning in Melb - my toes were numb & lost feeling by the time I got into work yesterday morning.

I just spoke to my mum on Skype who’s in Taipei at the moment, where it’s hot and humid over there right now - hmm, I guess I shouldn’t complain about this cold snap; I think I definitely prefer it over sticky humidity!

This would be the only reason I would go to HK during their summer in July - to see the awesome band Mr. live!
